Krysta was the original Wendla understudy in Spring Awakening, was a replacement Bebe for A Chorus Line and was in the original cast of In The Heights in the ensemble as well as understudying Nina, Vanessa and Carla.

I sincerely doubt Krysta Rodriguez (who may very well have auditioned) was cast, considering Annaleigh Ashford was not used again because the producers felt she looked "too old to play sixteen."
Rodriguez is in the same age range as Ashford. The rumors of someone genuinely younger, like Martin, seem more appropriate.

I'm pretty sure that the decision to leave The Addams Family project was not Annaleigh's at all.
