Advice about Under The Radar festival at The Public

I LOVE that festival. It's always worth it. I've seen remarkable things and famous audience members. You should go.

Like any festival, there are some things that are awesome, some things that aren't, some things that sell out, and others that barely sell at all. But I can guarantee that everything is at least interesting. It is a fantastic opportunity to see theatre from other parts of the world- I got to see the exiled Belarus Free Theatre there a few years ago- so I would take that chance, too!

I can't specifically recommend anything this year. I know several people who are big fans of Dane Terry, whose solo concert show Bird in the House is performing for two nights in the festival.

In previous years, they've had an after-hours lounge/dance space with live performances and cool DJs. It seems they've stopped doing that, which is a shame.
