I saw this thread someplace else and figured I'd repost it here. An aesthetic experience is the goosebump-y feeling you get from listening to certain songs and has (and this is key) nothing to do with emotion.
What are the songs that give you aesthetic experiences? I'm almsot a little embarassed to admit that I get goosebumps whenever I listen to any huge ensemble moment on a recording, even in Wicked. A couple others are the fnal Ballad of Sweeney Todd, Another Hundred People, Ever After... the list goes on and on.
