Has anyone here ever seen the tv version of After the Fall with Faye Dunaway and Christopher Plummer? I'm curious about how it is.

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I never saw it because I hate Faye Dunaway, but I looked for it on Netflix. I have a number of plays on dvd coming in my queue, because my partner is a theatre director.
It's not available on dvd from them, but you might see if Amazon has it.

There's a Broadway collection that includes Story Theatre, Eccentricities of a Nightengale, The School for Scandal and A Moon for the Misbegotten. You might want to look for them. I think it's the Broadway Archives. Good luck!

Unfortunately, it has yet to be released on homevideo/DVD. It was never issued in any form on homevideo (VHS/Beta/Laserdisc).

Thanks for the information, guys.

The article on the page below about the movie and some of the trouble they had with the network censors was interesting to me.
