Does anyone happen to have the dates that Alfie will be joining the tour for? I've looked all over online and can't find any information.

I don't know what you mean by "tour force," but isn't he going to be the first JM Barrie on tour and thus wouldn't be joining but would be opening?

My phone changed "for" to "force" and now won't let me edit for some reason.
Anyway, the way it was worded is that he would be joining the tour, so I'm not so sure that he is opening it, but maybe just doing a few dates.

I find it hard to believe that they can effectively market the tour with a star who is pretty much an unknown in the U.S. Are they counting on the Neverland brand alone to sell tickets? Of course, the real star of the show will be those eight oscillating floor fans, but that's a hard sell, too, unless they can get Vornado to underwrite the tour.

The average attendee of a touring Broadway show has absolutely no idea who is in the show. Star casting is way more important in NYC than on the road, because in New York there are many more options for audience members. A road house gets 5 or 6 shows a year. Neverland will do just fine on the road - family show, Peter Pan, based on movie...

Alfie sang on the Today show. When he was finished, Hoda said he would be on Broadway through August, then join the US Tour. Alfie was standing right there and didn't correct her, so it's safe to say he'll be there even for a few dates, but which ones?

"Mylar Glitter" above the title on the marquee. "Eight Oscillating Floor Fans" below the title.

Since the tour won't start until the Broadway production closes, Alfie will be joining the tour from the beginning.

You don't know that as fact, you're making an assumption.
And for what it's worth, they're not oscillating fans.
I only saw it at ART, so when someone called them oscillating, I figured they changed it for Bway. In Camb the fans opened upwards from the floor (flaps, sort of, all facing inwards towards the area where Sylvia was) and stayed still. Is that how they still work?

Yes, this is how it's done in NY. There are a series of fans below the deck, in the trap room. As this will not be possible on tour, I speculated in a different thread that circular fans would pop out of the deck, as is done to create the exact same effect in Cirque's Amaluna (also directed by Paulus).
Alfie Boe is touring with Michael Ball in the UK for the month of November and early December.

I'm looking forward to that Boe/Ball album.
