And as for my favorite new Kander and Ebb piece-
Curtains. All About Us- it's fairly good, but not great. The song "The Skin of Our Teeth" is very good though. The Visit was interesting too, but I didn't like the book (even though it was by Terrance McNally, one of my favorite playwrights) but Chita and the score were wonderful. Curtains worked 97% for me. (97% you ask? I didn't get why...well, see the show first if you haven't. Then ask me.) Sure there were a few clunkers (Thataway!, Wide Open Spaces), but were they supposed to be good? And they were very well staged!
