I saw the first show tonight and this was my Facebook response:
"... thinks everyone should see "All Fall Down" so when its young lead, Casey Predovic, becomes a star (any minute now) you can all say you saw him when he was starting out at NYMF. Oh, and also, Mary Testa is wonderful (as always)...."
The show itself is fun in the first act but has a false resolution in the second that makes you realize the writers had no idea what to do with the plot. I won't spoil it for you but it actually made me mad cause I had invested. But it ended up being a worthwhile evening cause all four actors, playing a variety of characters, are just fantastic.
The music is good as are the lyrics. Again, the book sets up something that has such a STUPID resolution it leaves you very disappointed. But it is funny a lot of the time.
But young Predovic, who just graduated from the Carolina School of the Arts in the spring is making one of the more auspicious NYC debuts I've ever seen. (well, technically, he did do an EST production over the summer). I hope he stays around the theatre, but I'm sure if casting directors from, say, "Gossip Girl" or "Glee" have a look at him, the kids a goner.

Uhh, that's not even the title of the show.
