Are we sure the characters continue to age after the spell is cast? The Chip character seems to deny that possibility.

If I'm going to pay money to see a show, why shouldn't I enjoy or not enjoy the experience as much as I want. I reserve the right to have my mind as open or closed as I want it. I often go into a show having a preconceived notion about it, albeit a positive one. This time, I was going to see how bad Jacob Young was in the role and that is exactly what i did. What seems to be the problem? I started this thread to say that I don't like the idea of Jacob Young as Lumiere and I still feel that way.

Dean: Can I tell you something? Lorraine: That depends on what it is. Dean: I think you're really really pretty. Lorraine: (after a pause) Ok, you can tell me that.

I'd take Jacob in Beauty over Haylie in Hairspray any day!

I posted a very positive review of Jacob's performance at another topic board I made about Jacob! You can click to the Link! I've heard mainly from a few that watched Jacob, that he is doing a pretty good job, and considering this is his first time on Broadway, that's pretty great!
