Geeze, splendero03. Just smack All Shook Up with a frying pan and call it done.
:Clumsy gets on his ASU soapbox:
I found All Shook Up, fantastic. It was creative, more imagantive than Mamma Mia and Good Vibrations. I found it to be very enjoyable and had it been done by a terrible cast, it would have been terrible, but the cast was fantastic. Cheyenne was CHAD, I feel kind of bad for the actor stepping into Chad's blue suede shoes, because Cheyenne fit them perfectly. Jenn's mix of spunky and sexiness made Natalie a great character. Mark's goofy charm helped him in his role as Dennis. The cast of the original cast did a fantastic job, they made the show what it truly was-- a fun, yet campy ride through Elvis music and a Shakesperan twist.

i agree, ALL SHOOK UP was better than MAMMA-MIA, and i enjoyed it
it was corny (i notice that more as i keep listening to the cd), but it was a fun time
the cast really made it, though, especially Jenn

Cheyenne and Jenn MADE that show.
Their chemistry sold it.
They were a team.
It didnt hurt that the supporting characters and ensemble were amazing. They helped sell the large group numbers and their roles respectively.
Jenn was amazing, I agree.

Well, as much as I loved Jen and Cheyenne on Bway I have to tell you that Jenny Fellner and Joe Mandragona make these roles their own and make you forget anyone ever played them before! Joe has a naturally flirtatious quality, without being swarmy, that makes Chad work and Jenny has a wonderful quirkyness that makes you believe she grew up in that garage and hasn't met any REAL boys worth her interest until now.
As for the ensemble, as well as the principles, they will blow everyone away!
If you loved it on Bway you MUST see it on the road, if you haven't seen it yet then make plans NOW if we come to your city! (OK...maybe a LITTLE schill

Oh, believe me- SakeDad. I'm going when it hits Philadelphia in 07. Its one of my favorite shows I've ever seen. I think its wonderful these new actors are making the roles their own, and I'd hope they wouldn't try to copy Jen and Cheyenne.
I'm going in slightly jaded having seen the original Broadway cast, but I feel, I'll be more open by the time I've gotten to the theatre that day.

Jenny Fellner is in this?
Well, I will most definitely have to see the tour now
I met her after MAMMA-MIA! and back then I was in love with her, and told her she was my favorite actress and I was gonna see her in whatever she did next (it was her last perf in MAMMA-MIA) so I have to keep my promise
Ha, I'm stupid, but yeah, that is really cool she's in this!
:)

My dad might play the tour when it comes down to Florida! I am so excited!
Who would play you in the movie? "Taye Diggs." --Brian d'Arcy James

I skipped ASU when it was in Chicago, but I'm looking forward to seeing it when it opens in Milwaukee next month.
And yes, the poster is *awful.*

Posted: 8/29/06 at 1:14amJenny Fellner is a fantastic young performer! Not only is she a friend, she's one HELL of a singer, too! Gotta love those kids from the midwest. I am only a little sad that PRINCESSES couldn't have made it to Broadway this season with Jenny in it, but am happy to know she's got another lead role under her belt. Well done! (Oh, and go see her.)
