Just got back from the show and lets just say I feel in love with it all over again. I saw it first preview from the balcony but tonight i sat row G and wow, it was amazing. Lets start off with Jenn. She seemed to be having such a great time, I noticed a few different things she did that made her performance so fresh. Her voice was dead on tonight and was such a pleasure to watch. Cheyenne. What more can be said besides he is fantastic, with such an outstanding voice. Everything he did tonight was dead on, though there were a few moments of slight laughter which the whole audience loved. Mark Price. I really love his voice, and he is just so funny. You can't help but laugh at him. So great! Leah Hocking, is just fantastic. She could sing anything really, just wonderful. But the two that I watched most tonight was Curtis Holbrook, and Nikki James. Together they are such a dynamic couple. SO cute together, outstanding voices. Ah and both are extremely generous and sweet. Jonathan Hadray, Alix Korey, John jellison, and Sharon wilkins gave outstanding performances. Sharon brought the house down with her song, gave me goosbumps. And i think that this ensemble is one of the best ones on broadway. All of them are so talented and such outstanding dancers that during the company numbers, its hard to look at just a few. So as you can see I had an outstanding time at the Palace theater tonight, thanks to my mom and dad for buying me tickets for my birthday, and for them along with Cheyenne for arranging a surprise backstage/dressing room tour after the show. I know i don't need to repeat this here but Cheyenne is truly the nicest and sweetest man on broadway.
Nice.
Sharon is awesome.
Need a comment on Alix? The woman is a star!

What a hay to spend a birth day!
thank you fosseboi. my birthday was actually on the 14th but this was a birthday gift from the parents. yes it was so cool, especially since i had NO idea about it haha!
That's awesome.
Make me jealous and say you saw Alix backstage...
Hah,
I want to take over Curtis Holbrook's role just so i can sing his songs and get to be onstage with Nikki. She seems really cute.

It was true when he first came to NY
and it's still true today!!
He really is one of the kindest, most gracious,
people I have ever met.
I was there for the 1st time yesterday. It was amazing. I was just blown away by the show and the audience seemed to love every part of it. I thought Leah was sooo good too. She was just hilarious. She remined me of Rose McGowen(not sure if that's her last name..she's on Charmed). But my mom says her speech pattern or something reminded her of Bernadette Peters. Anyways, I will be seeing this show again. Everyone was just on the mark. Sharon was great as well but for the 1st time I noticed the difference between singing and screaming. When she doesn't scream..she sounds beautiful. I think when she goes for some of the high notes she should take it easy.
Other than that, it was amazing. And they were all so nice at the stage door.
Wow, there were a lot of us there last night. Taboowickedfan- I think I saw you backstage last night, I was there on a tour with Nikki. It's a great show, I love it and keep going back.
How is backstage? That's awesome..I want to see this show againt today haha..but I'm seeing Sweet Charity(which i cant wait for either!)

I was there last night too, in the balcony, and I was pleasantly surprised. As a jukebox musical, it is a little cheesy, but I enjoyed it a great deal more than most of the others I've seen. I thought it was far better than Mamma Mia. And Cheyenne is such a pleasure to watch and to listen to, he sounded terrific last night. I do wish Alix Korey had a little more to sing in the show.
I was wondering about the cast recording...the music sounds so terrific in the theater, is it just as good on the cd, or did they skimp on the band at all? Is it worth getting? It seemed to be selling very well after the show last night.
NBC, in my opinion it is worth it to get the CD. I just listened to it and i love it. They of course don't have dialogue in it cause..that would just give everything away. But, it is a great cd..so get it lol.
CD is fun!
It sounds like a typical jukebox musical with great orchestrations and a talented cast.
What makes the show great is how they just break out in song.

Great review TWF. Agreed 100%!!
I'm so happy you got the chance to do this!! Wonderful topper for an already fab birthday, in my opinion! Thanks for sharing the extra ticket. Thanks to you guys, I got a chance to experience the backstage goings ons of the Palace Theatre, which has been something I've wanted to do for a long time.
Hallowed halls and rooms, I'd say.
Can't agree more about the sweetness that is Cheyenne. I've been on a "Chey High" all day today!
