Anyone else see this one in Times Square?
Ugly.
Yeah, I didn't like it.
yea it's been up for a few weeks, I kinf of liked the more plain cover they used in Ct. better, but its not that bad.. just a little busy.

I dont think it's that bad but I really liked the CT one.
This poster is pretty fun. The colors are fun. The same artist did Reefer Madness, which Jennifer Gambatese was in.
It looks like a Grease reject
I totally agree with you Tuttle. It looks like one of those posters that are mass-made for Grease so that high schools can put their own information on the poster. Gross.

I don't like it. At all...

Does anyone have a picture of the CT poster?
I think it looks fun, but I can understand people thinking of it as a Grease reject.

It looks fun, thats for sure. It does look too busy, tho. Get rid of the random people on the left side, and itd be much better, IMO.

The thing is, they aren't random people. They are characters in the show. I guess they wanted to fit everyone in.

Alright, fair enough lol. They do make the poster too busy, tho.

andyf, this is the original CT poster...
as you can see, totally different than the Broadway poster.
Well, maybe the play bill will be the one they use for the adds in the paper Just the girl and boy on the motorcycle with 'All Shook Up' above it, rather then with the people in the back and such.

The full page color add in the paper a while back had Natalie, Chad, and everyone else. Who knows what they will do. Maybe they will just have the words and the carnival in the back. I'd like that.
Well, the add they are using now only has the 2 on the motorcycle and All Shook Up above it.

The show is really really fun and I truely enjoyed it up in CT :) I'll be flying out to Chicago to see it as well, and then seeing it on Broadway.
Yes, the show is great! It's a very funny show to watch! and the music is arranged really nicely! It all fits into the storyline well also, like I didn't once sit there and go ok that is random.. So I felt the the Ct. version was really good and once it is in a full blown version I feel it has the makings of a great musical that people will really enjoy!

"ALL SHOOK Up is a burnin' new musical comedy that tells the story of a small town girl who dreams of hitting the open road and the guitar-playing roustabout who brings Romance, Rebellion and Rock 'n' roll into her life!"
Official Website
I can see why they changed the poster from CT. It didn't say anything about the show.

hm, a "burnin' new musical comedy"? Odd adjective use lol.
The CT one is a little on the boring side. I don't know lol
*sigh*
I hate it.... on multiple levels, I guess. I think it's kind of obnoxious and ugly, and... well, something else belongs there.
