I agree with you Mr. Roxy, the original was superior.
I found the original to be charming and fun.
Just like the show itself.

Geez anyone would think this was the worse thing to happen to broadway,it was a fun show and worked for what it was.

Exactly.
It was never meant to change the face of musical theatre
It was just meant to be campy fun.
