Ahh i'm dying of giddiness! all 7 Boyz were on stage at the same time!!

okay it starts with all the Boyz walking on staged dressed in white from head to toe carrying boom boxes. they set them down and Scott "flips" his on and the music starts. i have to make a side note about Scott here: he was shirtless! that's right, sans shirt!!(he had a white leather jacket on but it's wide open. it looked like or could be Tyler's jacket from the opening night pics on Daniel's page) Scott was scorching! i am astonished my retina survived the impact. LOL :) he also did not hesitate to show off his body as he led the skit. Tyler wore a white sweatshirt which i think is the same one he wore to Scott Nevin's Therapy.

the "song" actually consisted of a medley of a dozen songs. i really wasnt expecting this and im sorry i cant give a rundown of all songs included. each Altar Boy had his own moment in the spotlight and Tyler did a rendition of "like a virgin"!! Daniel busts out with "Ooh Heaven is a place on earth" :) lol!!

the "bonnet" was actually all the boom-boxes stacked together (the Boyz stacked them at the end) into the shape of a cross! how creative and interactive! each Altar Boyz stacked his up at the end and made the bonnet on stage. lol and at the end of the skit, they turned it around and it had Jesus painted on the back! LOL at the end of the entire show all the bonnets were displayed and Andy took it upon himself to "wear" it which is basically holding it up so it doesn't topple over. it was ginormous! the boom-boxes were literally life-sized so you can imagine how 7 of them would stack up. whew! Andy's sure got stamina :) i'm a little sorry i don't have pictures but i was trying to be respectful and not take pics even though there were inappropriate flashes during a lot of the show. hopefully Daniel will have pics of the bonnet up on his site soon!

Chris Gattelli makes a "guest appearance" dressed as Jesus and jams with the Boyz towards the end. the choreography rocked! the Boyz did their "hold on to belt loop and sway legs" dance move and also did the Rhythm arm crosses!

i had such a fantastic time!! i will post about the other skits in a second i just had to relive this one first! :)

also fun experiences: i was waiting outside the theatre to pick up my tickets when taboowickedfan's mom asks me, "are you Juliet?" LOL it totally took me by surprise! i briefly met taboowickedfan who donned her Altar Boyz t-shirt! :) always nice to meet people from the board! they said they were going to wait by the stage door and left.

guess who came by a few minutes later? Daniel Torres!! lol i also met his parents briefly who came to see the show. his mom is so sweet! his parents are so cute! Daniel was so cute! cuteness abounds!! LOL okay enough of that...i also caught him after the show *hugs* :) this is the second time i've seen him and the first time i've seen him not in the Mark costume and i must say, he reminds me of a younger, sexier, better kempt Colin Farrell! lol

they didn't show how much money was raised because they were going to show it tomorrow. this has to be said in every bonnet thread: Denzel is going to match whatever money is collected!! WOW

Wait, I know a Daniel Torres. I don't think it's the same one ](I would probably know if it was), but just in case, is it pronounced like regular Daniel or is it like Danielle? Thanks.

Okay, thanks. I almost had a heart attack when I read that because I was like "MY Daniel Torres???" But, I guess it isn't. And, yeah, his name is pronounced like Danielle. I think his dad is Hispanic, if that makes any difference.

Taboo, i also thought it was one of the best bonnets! well i'm outrageously biased but the buzz on my other thread is that lots of people thinks it's in the running to win! yay!

oh and i forgot to mention. the Boyz got the audience to clap along! few other ones did that i think...
