MANHATTAN THEATRE CLUB will present its annual Spring Gala on Monday, May 9, 2005, at the New York Hilton, 1335 Avenue of the Americas, at 53rd Street. The star-studded show will be hosted by the star of the Broadway musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, JOHN LITHGOW. The show will include numbers from this season’s new musicals, including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Brooklyn the Musical, and Altar Boyz plus special guests including MARIO CANTONE, star of Broadway’s Laugh Whore and HBO’s “Sex and the City,” and Golden Globe Award-winning singer/songwriter AMANDA (“The Rose”) McBROOM.
Cocktails and a silent auction begin at 7pm, with dinner at 8pm, and the Gala Benefit show at 9:15pm. Ten-person tables are $30,000, $20,000, $15,000 and $10,000. Individual tickets are $2,000 and $1,000. For more information, call 212.399.3000, ext. 342.

Juliet, I saw the matinee today - Kevin was on for Scott, and he was unbelievable.
ahh Ga!! i saw Kevin his first time on as Matthew in think sometime in late March. wasn't he so seductive?! i loved his approach to Mark in Genesis of the ABz. i wish i could have gone today but i'm sure i'll have more chances when my finals are over. so glad you liked Kevin! he blew a kiss to the teenage girl he picked from the audience last time as the Boyz were leaving the stage

Juliet - yes, he was quite seductive. What a voice, too.
i heard Kevin' son was there! aawwww! Kevin's so boy-band attractive as Matthew and i remember him as Marius with amazing vocals. i just have a hard time combining those mental images with "daddy" LOL what a talented guy, i wish i could have met him last time.
