Altar Boyz: Panel Discussion!

Members of the cast and creative team of the hit Off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz will take part in a panel discussion at the Ars Nova April 17.

Communing with the Altar Boyz will be presented from 12:30-2 PM at the intimate theatre on West 54th Street. Those scheduled to take part in the afternoon chat include songwriter Michael Patrick Walker, director Stafford Arima, choreographer Chris Gattelli and Altar Boyz stars Ryan Duncan, Andy Karl and Scott Porter.

Theatre editor/writer Michael Portantiere will moderate the discussion. The panel is expected to discuss the genesis of the show, and questions will also be taken from the audience.

Tickets for Communing with the Altar Boyz, priced at $10, are available by calling [phone] or by visiting www.smarttix.com. The Ars Nova is located at 511 West 54th Street, just west of Tenth Avenue.

Anyone know why Tyler is not going to be there at the panel discussion? Just wondering since I have tickets to see the Altar Boyz and wanted my boyfriend to see tyler for Sat night?

Tyler and David just weren't selected to do this particular press event. For most press events all 5 are there but for others events they break it up a bit to give the boys some down time. Tyler will be in the show that sat night.
