Yeah I'm pretty sure there's no Altar Boyz tour, actually positive, the show hasn't had the success required to invest in a tour I don't think

I hope there is... I would love to see it! Although I doubt it would come anywhere near where I live anytime soon!

There is definitely going to be a tour...not many dates have been booked, I think.

Maybe they're just making major city stops or making different casts for resident runs (i.e. I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE).

be wary, the book for the show itself talks about the Boyz "touriong the country" and perhaps some of their satirical website and media alerts might be mentioning the pseudo-backstory rather than actual future plans. Des Moines, not being known for diversity, may be one of their inside jokes as a "previous appearance."

i have heard it will sit down in Detroit a while and then possibly tour. Like BROOKLYN, it is a small-ish touring property that might be able to make some investment money back in regional gigs or on the road. But if actual dates have been set past Detroit, i haven't seen them yet. What was the source of the Civic Center announcement?

haha that Des Moines thing cracked me up too. it is definately doing Detroit and they were doing auditions earlier last month in Chicago and Detroit. the source for the Des Moines article was from a local paper i think and the link is provided in the Press section of the main Altar Boyz site.

by the way, it makes me really 'giddy with excitement and joy' that people are keeping up with tour info. LOL
