Am I the only one who feels...

That "Love Never Dies" is written like really bad fanfiction? Think about it: Raoul is a complete asshole, Meg is completely different than she was in the original musical, and Christine is madly in love with Erik. That's all I see in POTO fanfics, and now in "Love Never Dies." I'm sorry, I despise the show completely and can't wait for it to close. Gaston Leroux is rolling around his grave.

Am I the only one?
No. We are legion.

Have you seen the show or are you basing this on what you've read?

All right, I only read about it, but that doesn't change the fact that it's true and that LND is simply a bad fanfic brought to the stage.

Is it just me, or are ambiguous subject lines really annoying?

Well, I feared the onslaught of rants from Erik/Christine fans, that's why I made the subject line ambigous. I know everyone is annoyed that I made a subject to speak against LND, but I can't help but be a true devoted fan of the original musical and the novel, and feel that the show doesn't deserve to even be on the Broadway stage. I say, stop the previews and LET the love die.

The fact that people feel so strongly about the relationship between two fictional characters perturbs me.

I would happen to agree; but after all- this is Broadway World.com! No one judges a show before they see it. Everyone talks INSERT CENSORED WORD HERE about the Spiderman musical, but they've definitely all seen it.
