Posted: 11/27/04 at 12:30ammy parents won't get me the cast recording for Christmas! I was making my Christmas list and my brother was like, "oh, Avenue Q is bad. I heard it's just like an x-rated sesame street. don't get it for her!" so, no, you're not the only one.
Ways to annoy people:
Arrive at a meeting late, say you're sorry, but you didn't have time for lunch, and you're going to be nibbling during the meeting. Then eat raw potatoes.
Ask people what gender they are,or
Disagree strongly with everything anybody says:)

X-rated? Please. Yes, the CD has a parental advisory sticker, and you might not want to take the advice of "You Can Be As Loud As the Hell You Want" when you're playing said song. But I was sitting next to parents with their teenage daughters when I went, and they all loved it.
And Amneris- go see it! The Golden is so tiny you won't have a bad time if you get rear mezz tickets.

Ebonic, I'm ashamed of you. I'm never posting about having extra tickets to something again, because you don't deserve the pleasure of saying "OMG YOU ALWAYS HAVE EXTRA TICKETS!!!" until you see the Q.
And Amneris...you know I would never want to drop anyone's real name around here, but I AM SO SHOCKED, I seriously came with inches of typing it out to yell at you. You really have no excuse. And while I won't spell it out for everyone, you know you've had more than your fair share of opportunities to see it, you're always so close...like when I saw you on Monday...

No you are not the only one who hasnt seen it... cuz I haven't yet!
I absolutely LOVE the cast recording tho, but the reason I haven't seen it is that my parents won't take me to see it. I'm only 16, so yeah. Hopefully this summer I'll go with my sister (who went to see it with her college.. so not fair)

We go so often that she refuses pay full price everytime. I really really really want to see it. I have the soundtrack and practically know all the words already, but I still have not seen the show. Yes it sucks to be me, jk.
