Posted: 7/27/06 at 11:01amShe dropped out of BUG twenty-four hours before the first preview and the production had to cancel a week of performances because of it. I'm not saying she's not good---she's an amazingly talented actress---but she has a reputation.

She's a great actress and I know she looks young, but I still have an image of Tenessee Williams in a hospital bed moaning "But my character is twenty-five years old!"
Seriously, Alma is not supposed to be 49. Amanda is the right age for the mother (a good role for her).
