About 30 minutes. The staff member told us she wouldn't take pictures but someone before me asked her and she did, so I asked her too.

There is no stage door at the Tony Kiser Theatre. The cast uses the same entrance/exit as the patrons do.

Will Amanda sign other items? I heard Anne Hathaway was signing everything at her show.

I normally never stage door, but my friend loves Amanda and wanted to. There were a LOT of people (it was Saturday night). I'm pretty sure a good number of them didn't actually see the show.
The staff member told us she would only sign Playbills and posters and that she wouldn't take pictures and please not to ask. People asked anyway and she politely refused. She also didn't sign any other memorabilia. The guy next to us had a Les Miz poster and he was pretty disappointed.
She was very friendly considering the number of people and the fact that there's no stage door so people were crowding the lobby/exit. I would've been freaked out, but she's a movie star so I guess she's used to it.

Saw the matinee and attempted to stage door. There were 7 of us waiting after the show. We were also told Amanda will only sign playbills and would not take any photos. There was a creepy man waiting outside the building with non-play merchandise creepily looking into the building (assumingly waiting for Amanda) which freaked the 7 of us out. After 45 minutes we all decided to leave because we were getting frightened and creeped out by this man's actions.

She took pictures with people the first few days of previews, but that's probably because there were only maybe 4 or 5 people waiting for her at the time. If you write to the stage manager, they will send you a playbill signed by both Amanda and Thomas.

Thank you for all the information and input. I plan on seeing the show, but besides a playbill, I always have something else on hand in case I really like the actor/actress. If she politely refuses something such as Les Miserables posters or merchandise, then I can't fault her for that. However, some stars do loosen up as times goes along. We shall see.

She seems nice. After I see the show, I'd be satisfied going home with a signed playbill, but just in case, I'll bring something else. You never know.

I have a dilemma. I'm seeing the 2pm show on Wednesday, so assuming the show is over at 330... that means she will be out at 4pm. My flight leaves newark at 7pm. I don't think I will make it.
I hope she comes out sooner.

Sometimes actors and actresses can take up to an hour to come out. If you go to a matinee they may not even come out and it takes some time before you are told if they decided to stay in.

If all you want is a signed playbill (and you don't mind not obtaining it yourself in person) you can write to the stage manager and ask for a playbill signed by both Amanda and Thomas. They are fulfilling mail requests without asking for a donation to BC/EFA.

Well unfortunately, after the matinee show on Wednesday, there were only two people waiting for Amanda to come out. Me and another guy. Then there were like 3 other guys outside of the theater looking in hoping to catch a glimpse of her.
The stage manager or someone told us that *IF* she did come out, she would only be signing playbills and not taking any photos. I waited a little bit but decided to leave to grab my bags and rush to the airport. So when I left, only one person remained waiting for an autograph. Luckily my hotel was just across the street form the location, so I grabbed my bags and by the time I came out, I peeked in to see if that other guy was still waiting, he was gone.
I'm not sure if she came out or if he left without getting a signature, but the three guys standing outside were still peeking in, so I don't think she ever made it out. I found it awkward that only two of us were waiting in the first place. I would think a huge star like Amanda would have more people hoping to catch a glimpse and meet her but, then again, roughly 80% of the audience were seniors.

Does Amanda sign inside or outside the venue ?

You probably found fewer people waiting for her after a matinee because it's become common practice on Broadway that the performers not come out after the matinee on a two-show day. Although some people do still have luck with some performers after Wednesday matinees, the majority is that they don't come out.
In terms of posing for pictures, I'm still seeing people who are posting pictures with her on Instagram taken in front of the theatre (supposedly at night) so, maybe she told management to tell people 'no pictures' so they don't expect them, but maybe it comes down to how crowded it is and whether or not she's in the mood.

I am seeing the show this Thursday. Looking forward to the show and meeting Amanda afterwards. Hoping for a signed playbill and Les Miserables poster.

^ She only signs things from the show (e.g. posters and playbills). That rule has been consistent since the first preview.

Instagram has told a different story. People have replied saying they have seen other items signed. I never go on what the theater says. That happened to me once with Matthew Broderick. He signed everything.

I would like to report from the stage door from last night, May 21st. Amanda used an alternate exit out of the theater and did not sign for anyone. The show was good, but after, they brought us inside the lobby area, and Amanda took the other exit out. She's hit or miss for anyone who's interested.

For those that have gone, does Thomas sign after performances as well? Thanks-

Amanda and Thomas both left via the alternate exit last night. She was wearing a hoodie and practically ran to the car. Thomas was nice enough to stop for one person who noticed him.
