DIVA TALK: Chatting with [title of show]'s Heidi Blickenstaff

I'm really starting to get into this show, but has anything - musically - changed from Off-Broadway to Broadway? Would there need to be another recording or could they just update the Off-Broadway one. It doesn't sound like the show has had a huge, major overhaul.
I love her so much. That was a great. :)
Now we need more Blackwell interviews.
there have been a few pretty big changes... and some songs that haven't changed at all. The biggest change I can think of is September Song whose lyrics were more than half rewritten to incorporate their off-broadway run. Most other changes were small, but still quite noticeable to those familiar with the original cast album (or maybe only those obsessed with it?
I don't know, haha)
p.s. agreed- AMAZING interview. I love her too.

I recorded another incredible interview with Heidi Blickenstaff and it will be up on DC Theatre Scene next week. I'll post it here when it goes online. Thanks for doing this great interview. Isn't Heidi terrific? You should have seen her in Meet John Doe at Ford's Theatre. She was awesome! Joel

Heidi's a very special gal. As sweet as she is gorgeous and wildly talented.
A friend of mine (a huge Donna Lynn Champlain fan) saw the reading of MEET JOHN DOE, and was very excited to see it in DC, but was bummed that Donna Lynn was replaced by Heidi (he saw [tos] at the Vineyard and was lukewarm about it]. Of course, he came back a HUGE new Heidi fan, saying she was "astonishing...she blew Donna Lynn out of the water." Now he's excited to see [title of show] again with me tonight!
(double thread bump for the Blix!)
