Hey all -
I'm looking to see CHICAGO soon, and was wondering:
What row is 'front row' of the Ambassador?
Where is the stage door located?
For anyone who has seen it, how's it holding up?
Thank you kindly!
Best,

It's either AA or BB. I can't remember. I love seeing Chicago from the front row.

The theatre is "triangle shaped", so you don't really want to sit on the side sections up too close. The stage is low, so first and 2nd row center is good. The stage door is behind the gate, just to the right of the main entrance.

I've actually never had an issue sitting in the front row at the Ambassador.... as long as you're in the center and not on the sides in the front row, you shouldn't have a problem

I have BB-107 for Saturday.
I'm pretty stoked!
I sat in BB 106 the last time I saw Chicago and it was a great view. Although because of the angle it is a bit cramped, but not unbearable. If you act really into the show towards the final minutes you might end up with a rose!

This kid I know from my hometown is currently playing Mary Sunshine. Let me know how he is -- I haven't gone to see him yet.... I almost can't stomach seeing Chicago again

Well, it's the worst show I've ever seen on Broadway. Boring staging and a cast that was just going through the motions. It was completely lifeless. Even Bebe Neuwirth, though thoroughly miscast as Roxie, couldn't even save that. It's the only show that I've ever considered walking out on. This was last President's Day, but I can't imagine this tired revival has gotten any better.
CJR, he also just graduated from The Boston Conservatory. We're all really excited for him.

There were a lot of stale, auto-pilot performances from a lot of the ensemble. Rent, on the other hand, if I didn't know anything about the show at all, I would not have guessed it's been playing for 12 years.
frogs_fan, is BB the front row?
Also: Does anyone know where the stage door is located?
Mike, see my post earlier on this thread re: the stage door. Regards, ~tiny (shark avatar)

Do you know Dan from Boston Conservatory? I assume as much, but I don't like assuming things lol
Stage door is to the right of the steps to go into the theatre.

I don't know him all that well because he was a senior when I was a freshman, but yeah, we're all really happy for him here.
Thanks, thanks.
See, I'm going backstage on Saturday ... Just wanted to check-in. Many thanks for all your help!
