IT CLOSED ON MY BIRTHDAY! that makes me sad

"It's a great feeling of power to be naked in front of people. We're happy to watch actual incredible graphic violence and gore, but as soon as somebody's naked it seems like the public goes a bit bananas about the whole thing."

It's sad, because this is definitely a show that could've gotten great word of mouth business. I myself told everyone I know to go see it. The producers really jumped the gun with closing it.

I agree with everything twoaab2 said. Also caught the show at it's closing matinee and also left angry. Mostly angry at myself for not seeing this show earlier and therefore having a chance of seeing it a second time, but also angry that the producers and critics wrote this show off so easily. I think if it ran Off-Broadway it would have probably gotten raves, but critics seemed too tentative to endorse a small show at Broadway prices.

As I left the theatre, I swore to myself then and there that I would never listen to critics again. The show was absolutely enchanting. I adored every minute of it.
