I don't know "what the hell" she has planned (although it would be nice to hear something), but I can tell you that she is a sweetheart.

re: Amy Spanger

I imagine she's plotting ways to kill Hugh Laurie because he keeps robbing Michael C. Hall of awards. Or at least, she should be.
(Just kidding. I love Hugh Laurie. But Dexter is so freaking good!)

re: Amy Spanger

1)As far as I know, I dont *think* she has anything planned as of yet as far as post-wedding singer stuff. (however, there is a show Feeling Electric which is hopefully going to be getting some sort of production at some point in the future *yay!* and it seems that she's quite interested in it still! so... that could maybe, hopefully be her next move)

2)I've met her (very briefly) 3 times, and she is wonderful re: Amy Spanger she's more on the shy side, she's not one of those really touchy-feely type people, but she's super super sweet and adorable and really accomodating (she was always more than happy to take pics and stuff). she's seriously so cute though, she was all "hey guysss thanks for comin'!"

3)I'd think she's classified as an alto... but I'm really no expert in those things. All I know is she has a CRAZY range, and can go really really low re: Amy Spanger

Regarding Michael C. Hall, it seems they got a very quiet divorce last spring.

I've briefly met her twice and she was very nice both times. I hope to see her return to the stage in the very near future.

Listening to her in the orgy scene in Reefer Madness just demonstrates the complete control she has over such a versatile voice. Love her!

re: Amy Spanger

Without going into detail because.. I'm forbidden to, last I heard (back in December) she was up for a semi-high profile replacement job in a show currently playing in New York. I'm guessing it fell through (since she was supposed to make it official in January if it was happening,) but at least she's actively looking for her next project.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

heck yes.

that is why she needs to do Feeling Electric re: Amy Spanger she PWNS that show and it lets her show off EVERYTHING- her unbelievable voice, her unbelievable acting skills (both comedic and dramatic), and um... basically how kick ass she is in general *g*. If she did it, she'd absolutely HAVE to have a shot at the tony she so deserves.

re: Amy Spanger

If Feeling Electric gets picked up, I'm pretty sure it will be off-Broadway. Which would still be good, but no Tony yet.

I wish I knew what that show was, but I'm sorry it fell through either way.

2nd Stage may or may not be doing Feelin' Electric next season, but I've heard Amy left that show.

re: Amy Spanger

As it currently stands, "Feeling Electric" won't be coming back until at least late fall/ early winter of this year. Amy has said she hopes to have another job by then that would prevent her from doing it (not that she doesn't want to come back, but she won't be waiting around.)

If she is available, I'm sure she'd jump at the chance to do it, but more than likely she'll be involved in something else by then that would prevent her from reprising her role.

re: Amy Spanger

mannn... well I guess thats alright... I mean, as long as she's working in SOMETHING, I'm happy.. so.. re: Amy Spanger

but if she *does* get another job that prohibits her from continuing with Feeling Electric, I sure hope its a darn good one! *g*
