Has anyone ever seen Voytko in Pirate Queen?
I did. She's a fantastic actress who has a great voice. I think she can definitely handle Clara.

I totally agree that subtlety is essential for a good Fosca. Just listen to Maria Friedman on the London Cast Recording. Though I enjoy her as a performer, her performance there (in the words of another Sondheim show) "always arrived overdone."
