And Suddenly its 'Night'.

The Meniers new production of 'A Little Night Music' has its first preview tonight. This just suddenly seems to have come along so quickly without too much mentioned on here.
Looking forward to hearing peoples first thoughts!

**Sondhiems rarely performed 'Saturday Night' (great CD from the Bridewell premiere) is having its first revival at Jermyn St Theatre early in the New Year.

Positive from a poster on the Sondheim Society board (linked below). Also reports that Trevor Nunn has re-instated the cut song 'Silly People'...

I've never heard of that song before.

It was sung by the butler, Frid, but was cut after the Boston try-out as it was felt to be both superfluous and too knowing for a character who was only on the edge of the narrative.

EDIT: It's included on the 'Marry Me A Little' OCR if anyone wants to hear it...
