I worked with her in the early 90's and she was a blast and a half!...she had that glorious voice that has aged so well, and the best body I've ever seen on a woman- totally cut and ripped from having done Starlight Express. She used to whiz around on her rollerblades all the time and she was (is) the nicest gal. I'd gladly pay to see her if I had the money.

Agree about the body. Saw her on that My Favorite Broadway thing and when she came out, WOW! Little Orphan Annie has become Playboy's Little Annie Fanny!
Last night was great and Andrea McArdle is a force of nature. There's alot to say about it but what should be immediately noted is, say what you will about her and her "career", the woman sounds as clear and as young as she did 15 years ago. The voice is perfectly intact.

I read this as Audra McDonald...TONIGHT...FREE! and I got super excited.
I was her dresser here in Maine for Cabaret.
She kicks ass!
And, she recorded my new outgoing phone message:
"Hi, you've reached Byron, and this is Andrea McArdle letting you know that he will call you back (singing) TOMORROW!"
She's supposed to coe back to visit this weekend.
LOVE HER!
How old is Andrea's daughter?
She has certainly inherited the PIPES!
It is very impressive to me that she brought her daughter to SPLASH to sing!
My Dad never took me to Gay Bars.
Andrea's voice is just amazing and she is a lot of fun!
Ms. McArdle is the real deal, her voice is a gift from the heavens, it's intact, in-shape and INCREDIBLE. Put her in MAMMA MIA! already, the gal is a force of theatrical nature.
Put her and her daughter in MAMMA MIA!
great idea.
She was in Annie Get Your Gun in my town and she was amazing
Excellent casting idea!

I love Andrea. I'd LOVE to see her.
I thought she was a freaky looking kid, but she's gorgeous now.

I didn't care for her in the "Cabaret" tour but I liked her in "State Fair".
Andrea's daughter Alexis just turned 18, I believe. Glad to hear the show was great. I'm sorry that I missed it. Anyone remember the set list?
