You mean back when Casa did "edgy" musicals?

edgy was in quotes for a reason.
I was referring to the fact that most of the seasons since Yockey took over have been mainly R&H and "Wizard of Oz"

Casa does about 11 or 12 shows a season. Some they produce. Some are national tours.
Yockey has been there for over ten years now. I am probably a bit biased here because he hires me and I enjoy a decent career as a working actor.
However, you can't say all they have done for the past ten years are R&H and The Wizard of Oz. Whorehouse is definitely not R&H. Last year they did A Few Good Men. And they presented the tour of The Exonerated, with several hundred f- bombs a few years back.
They tend to do broadbased work in Bass Hall because they have 2000 seats to sell. But they also bring in the tours that Michael Jenkins won't. Urinetown, Full Monty, Avenue Q. You can't include these in your generalization of "R&H and the Wizard of Oz."
They just finished Steel Magnolias at the old theatre. It was pretty darn good stuff.
Checking your profile, if it is correct, you were about 11 years old when Yockey took over. Do you really remember what they did before that?
This is your thread. You are entitled to your opinion. But that is quite a bit of an exaggeration.
