Annaleigh

Ok.

So I saw "Wicked" a week ago, on December 14th, and after hearing mixed reviews about Ms. Annaleigh, my verdict is....


I loved her.


This was the first performance I have seen of Wicked, so I had nothing to compare her take on G(a)linda to.

I liked her little bits during Popular.
When it came to the hair tossing scene, she did a "toss toss" then walked away... which the audience loved that night.
The only problem I had was sometimes during a funny line she would stop mid sentence and swallow or take a breath or something which was a bit awkward a couple times.

Overall I liked her.

I saw Annaleigh in both Legally Blonde and Wicked...I thought she was great in Legally Blonde then I saw her in Wicked and in the first act I felt like I was watching Margot from Legally Blonde in Wicked. She didn't change the characters all that much and she fell flat on some of the punch lines. But then Act 2 happened and a completely different Annaleigh came out. She was a million times better then she was in the first act. So she rectifyed herself and ended up having a great show. but for the first act was alittle rough for me.

I saw her on 12/18 and loved her! She was great! Her "Popular" was pretty amusing.
