OMG, those are so beautiful! I just saw the ones on Annaleigh's myspace page, thank you for posting those new ones. I have a feeling you know her:) If so, please tell her I think she's amazing and I'm sooo looking forward to April 7th!
No, I actually don't. Haha. I mean, I've met her backstage at Wicked but I don't think she remembers that. Obviously, I remember it. Haha but no problem
And you are so lucky you're going April 7th....I wish I could! Let us know how it goes! Better yet, post some stuff on that site...haha
Ooooh, got it:) I don't think I'm the girl for that job, hopefully someone who knows more about technology will be there to film it. I use the computers at school, and my roomate's when she's not home. I'll try to figure something out though.
If her last day is in fact April 20th (her manager confirmed this, but it hasn't been officially announced) and assuming she isn't extending, I too wonder why it hasn't been announced yet. They already announced SJB's last day and the new Elphaba, and that's not until June 15th. April 20th is like less than 3 weeks away... hurry up! lol.
As much as I loved Annaleigh in Legally Blonde, I feel that her Glinda performance only meets the standard and does nothing to interest me. It was kind've like they picked her for the role because she was cute in Legally Blonde. Her singing seemed iffy to me at best, and her jokes didn't make me laugh...I don't want to say negative things about her because she seems so sweet, but really, couldn't they have found a better cast member for such a major role on Broadway?
She was great as Mrs. Lovett in the "Sweeney" revival. I wish I could've seen her in "Evita", but that was a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago. Same with "Sunset Bullavarde". But my ALL TIME FAVORITE Patti performance was "gypsy". Def!
purely out of wonder, does anyone have a good shot of her costume for the end of "chip on my shoulder" in legally blonde?
"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel
So is anyone going to her concert tonight at Birdland? Be sure to tell us all about it. :)
I saw Wicked over the weekend and she was wonderful, but very, VERY crazy during Act 1, especially Popular. I hope she has energy left over for tonight, haha. Good luck, Annaleigh!
i just saw her last night and she was fantastic in every way. she had a alot of laughs and her voice is spectular. whenever she was on stage with lisa you could tell it felt it was just them and it was touching. during popular she made it her own which made it even more fablous with the all the hopping and everything that went with it. if i could see her again as g(a)linda i would.
