Annaleigh's Last & Jeanna's First at Kinky Boots

Is anybody going today or Tuesday night? I would love to know if Annaleigh does anything different for her Last show and how Jeanna makes the role her own. Thanks!

When I hear Jeanna de Waal was going to take over, all I could think was: how did I not think of this before?! I think she'll really be great.

I saw Jeanna in Wicked and her comedic timing is killer!

It was a fun last show for Annaleigh and Lena...a good audience, good energy, lots of extra smiles and little hugs throughout the show.

Annaleigh slipped once - during her solo with the hairdryers, she wound up on the floor and did a few bars on her knees. I was in a really close by box seat so we could see her getting really weepy during the finale.

No speeches or anything like that...but there was a big group hug on stage after the curtain call..and then Lena and Annaleigh hugged as well as they left the stage. Nothing drawn out..I am sure there were many people in the audience who just figured the cast hugged after every show and didn't know it was their last day....LOL

I heard there was a party backstage afterwards..which was understandably happy/sad.

Glad I won the lottery on Friday night. It was good to see her one last time. Was not aware she was leaving the show. It explains why she was hamming it up a little more than I remember her doing the first 2 times I saw her. Best wishes to her and look forward to her next show.
