"Annie" Recent Revival

Does anyone know if a cast recording was made of the "Annie" revival with Nell Carter as Miss Hannigan? If not, is there any additional recordings beside the original cast, and original movie, and the Disney remake of the movie? I'm tired of all those, and I just started rehearsals for the show and I wanted to listen to something I wasn't already sick of. Thanks!

There is a London studio recording but it is out-of-print. You might try eBay. I think that's it as far as Annie recordings.
"Do you know ChrisLovesShows?" "Yes. Why, yes he does!"

Did I hear right, are they re-reviving Annie on B-way?
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

No.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

ANNIE will go on the road again early next year I believe, possibly ending up on Broadway.
"Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."

re: 'Annie' Recent Revival

The revival cast didn't make a recording because of the problems with the switching of the Annie's. A recording was supposed to be made with Joanna Pacitti but then those plans were scrapped with her firing when Brittny came on to take the role. There are a lot of foreign recordings...you could try Amazon or eBay.
