I know ppl complain about "seat questions"- i think bec it sometimes sounds as if ppl are whining about poorly located discount seats.
im not- just curious a) as to seat locations and b) how its determined where the seats will be:
TDF seats for Spring Awakening, Apple Tree and RENT- how are they? Orch? Rear mezz>
just lookin for shared experiences.
i can tell you that Little Dog Laughed sat my friends in the middle of the mezzanine, and sat me in the rear right of the orchestra for the same performance.
The Producers explicitly said that the seats were in the mezz but I was very surprised to have full view side orchestra seats, Row K. Just not sure how they determine where it is youll be sitting.
thanks if anyone has any info
Isn't it based on what's available?
For Rent I sat in the Mezz row B. And for Apple Tree I sat in the orchestra on the side just one row under the overhang. They weren't bad seats at all.
When using TDF, you never know what you will get until you pick up your tickets at the box office.

Usually TDF seats aren't bad at all. The seats themselves I believe are at random and depend on the seats that haven't been sold.

Seats depend on what's available. If you are watching by yourself, you stand a better chance of getting good tickets. I got Rent orchestra D 1 through TDF.
The price is right
Losing Louie - 1 st row orchestra dead center
Apple Tree - Middle of mezzanine - Saw fine
Spring - Toward back of orchestra - Saw fine
