This certainly is exciting. I'm glad to hear that he's working on another show. The Signature theatre is getting quite a great line up.

Very exciting. It's interesting that he's bringing in a collaborator, which he doesn't seem to do often.

Although I am disappointed that there are so many recent Bway/Off-Broadway shows on their list and not as many "new" things, I am glad they have some new offerings (and Lachiusa at that, whose work I adore), which is more than I can say about some of the other well-known DC theatres.

Posted: 3/6/08 at 1:19pmAs another subscriber, I agree that one of the wonderful aspects of Signature is the mix between established shows and new offerings. I thik the mix the past couple of years has been about right, but I'm disappointed that the subscription series next year is down to five shows, from the seven this year. I'm also somewhat disappointed that next year Signature is featuring Lieutenant of Inishmore, since I saw it on Broadway. But Signature is surely a gem for those of us who live in the DC area.
