I liked the pictures! I was like, "Yay! Pictures!" It made the reading experience even more enjoyable.

So pissed when I went to Border's and there wasn't any copies there (even thought the computer said there was one left). *shakes fist* Now I have to wait.

I want to read this so badly...unfortunately, I have absolutely no time to read it until I'm done pledging. Curse you, Greek Life!

I got my copy last Wednesday at my local B&N. I was surprised that they had it out already, but was pleased to get it before I left for Ireland. I read some on the plane going and coming back. I didn't have much time to read while I was there, but I am about 2/3 way through. I hopefully will finish it by tomorrow night (if I have time). I am thoroughly enjoying it and I think I might've creeped out the people next to me on the plane because I was crying while reading the chapter about Jonathan's death... oh well. I'll post again when I am finished.
We've all got our junk and my junk is you!

Woo hoo! Okay got mine and I'm already 40 or so pages into it. It's very well written and extremely compelling. Bravo Anthony!

I'm thinking of making a voodoo doll representing Amazon.com and their horrible shipping department.
I preordered it months ago and the current status indicates that it was shipped today. Barring the Harry Potter books, Amazon ships books the day of their release.

When I went to get mine today, I didn't see it with the new releases, and since I'm lazy and was in a rush to get it before I was late to class, I just asked the information desk guy. He was like "oh. Is that the Rent guy?"
heh.

just put down the book! finished! Needless to say it was amazing. I picked mine up yesterday at Borders, and the man at the counter said that that was their last copy, and that several people had asked for it! You rock Anthony! I'm glad the book is doing well.
There were several times I cried in the book, (a couple of times I was in public places while I was crying) I don't want to rub it in that i've read but I am just so thankful that Anthony decided to share such a touching, personal story with the world. Try to get a hold of a copy, it truly is something special.

I got mine last night around 11:30... started reading, and continued reading until I finished it at 6:30 in the morning. Then went to school. Hahaha... no sleep for Anthony love. That's okay. It is AMAZING! I can't even put into words everything I would say about it, and since a lot of people haven't finished it yet (I'm assuming), I'll just leave it at fantabulous for now, so I don't spoil anything.
Can't wait for the Chicago booksigning tonight!!!
Mucho mucho Anthony love. Mucho.

WOW. As always, Anthony was great. The book signing was so awesome... first he read (from Glory), then there was a question and answer session, then he sang Seasons of Love acapella (sp?), and then he finally signed books, for what I think somewhere around 2 hours. Somehow I ended up at the end of the line
but all went well. I just spent 3 hours standing in a crowded bookstore, that's all. I got to take a picture with him in the tango pose (with the kids section for a background, hahaha)... It was all fantabulous. The man only continues to rock my sox more and more...

Omigosh- I just finished it! I have never loved a book this much! Some viewpoints he offered just made my mouth drop open. The chapter about his grandfather's funeral and his lack of feelings was amazing. I highly recommened it to anyone who has ever even heard of RENT!
