Any suggestions on getting Jackmans autograph after show?

I am going Sat and trying to figure out how this theater works with the crowds ect. I saw the pictures of the madness around the theater. Should I leave at curtain? Anyone know the last song? I remember when Julia Roberts was on Broadway the line for autographs you had to show your stub from that show. Hope they do something like that. Any thoughts?

Leaving before the show is over is RUDE -- for any reason....to HUGH, any of the performers and all those around you. If getting his autograph is so important, then you should be willing to wait. He does sign, so just be patient.

"Oh, Hugh, I like your work so much that I skipped part of your perfomance just so you could sign this for me." See the irony?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

When Hugh Jackman was doing Boy From Oz, he was really generous at the stage door. He, in fact, made sure everyone who wanted an autograph got one before he left. (I know the situation was somewhat different at A Steady Rain. But, I did see him pose for pictures and sign items for everyone (and there were a lot of people) outside the theater when he did Boy From Oz.) He's a classy guy and I'd urge you to stay for the encore and final curtain call. It's rude in my opinion to leave for that reason (I totally understand if someone has a train or something, but to do so in order to jockey into the line outside is tasteless). Good luck! (Can't wait to see him soon!!!)

I was in the rear mezzanine and sitting on the aisle when I left, and it was after he sang the encore and during the last curtain call that I left. There are two barracades they set up, and there were people behind me that Hugh didn't greet personally. Security allowed them to pass up their Playbills to be signed, but Hugh does not say hello to people that are not standing in front of the barricade.

Can you go before the show? I met Hugh several times at TBFO as he arrived when he was going into the theatre, and he was very generous. The crowd, of course, was minuscule compared to afterward. The smaller crowd gave him more of a chance to show off some personality and actually get to talk to you.

I wish I had the $$$ to see this show. Any suggestions on getting Jackmans autograph after show?

At 6:00 Wednesday night Hugh came and signed autographs for people waiting for him. Barricades were set up. Hugh looked eager to sign them. However, many feel it is in bad form to ask for autographs while a performer is arriving at the stage door.
