My wife said that last nite's performance was the best she has seen so far (although she did miss Carly) - Said it was amazing !!! The woman in front of her was a photograher, and the other was a costume designer--- both told her they were doing "work" for the show... (hmm.... little confusing, but anyway...)
Going back tonight... :))

Kate was definitely channeling some demons tonight because she looked more crazy and angry than usual as well as some ticks/shaking.
When was the last time you saw it? Shindle's definitely been playing it what I've been calling 'less evil, more crazy' than she was during say the first/second week of previews... she talked a little bit about it in this playbill.com interview from opening night, and a little more in her video q&a that's posted a page back here (ok yes because I asked the question there :)), about her "mad as a hatter" and mercury research and her little Hatter ticks and twitches and stuff. I find it interesting.
Loving all of the reports about the on fire audience last night!

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure it's at least fun. Would love to see it with someone on here, and maybe even grab a bite before. So PM me if interested.

Just back from the show--- April was on again-- Really love her voice !!! Obviously much different than seeing Carly as Chloe, but she pulled it off-
Rest of the cast on fire--- just really having fun with their roles. Was in Orch X, and didnt see Mezz, but the Orch was packed.
Audience seemed to really enjoy. Most nights I notice the standing ovation start when Kate comes out-- tonight started basically at end of the show.

It was beautiful--- although April flubbed a SPOKEN line or two leading up to the song-
She really has a beautiful voice--- reminds me a lot of Kimiko Glenn.

Link to the video of Morgan James at Birdland tonight. I'm watching it right now, but I hear she didn't do anything from Wonderland. Quite alright, seeing her Alice on Saturday night!
