Anyone know the best place to find Opera reviews?

I know it is a theatre chat board, but I figured there would be some crossover. You all have been so gracious and helpful in the past, I figured I would take a shot with the high profile opening of Tosca last night.

When dose The NY Times typically publish?

Tomassini’s NY Times review is up now (would post link but on a train). Parterre.com has a thoughtful review up (very thorough) and contains links to James Jordan’s review from the Observer.  

In sum, the Tosca (Sonya Yoncheva) is fantastic, everything else is on the blah side, including the hyper literal production. I’m going on Wednesday and would be happy to post my thoughts here.

Opera isn't an alien creature.
It's just one end of a spectrum
that runs from "plays with music"
through musical revues, musical
plays, etc., to opera at the other
end.

FOUR SAINTS IN THREE ACTS,
PORGY AND BESS, STREET
SCENE, EVITA--quite a few operas
have been written with Broadway
in mind.
