Re: Tilda Swinton makes her New York stage debut
Thanks for the code! Pretty seamless process and lots of availability. Prices are, as expected, very high but some good deals to be found.

Can't f**king wait! I hate when people say "Take all my money!" but that phrase is applicable here (...but please don't).

Times?? Keep refreshing but nothing there. So far I think the Post (of all groups…) and Time Out kind of nailed it, and I was a little surprised by the Guardian's enthusiasm. The Hollywood groups are not surprisingly generous. Anyone have a gift link for WSJ?
Re: OTHER DESERT CITIES 2026 Previews
What’s the moratorium, midnight? I can see these reviews going so many ways…mostly not good or a pass at best.
Re: Quentin Tarantino's THE POPINIAY CAVALIER starring Sacha Baron Cohen to open in London February 2027
Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Motion Picture group and Sonia Friedman....definitely transferring unless its an out-and-out flop. Actually, even then it'll probably make its way to NYC.
Re: OTHER DESERT CITIES 2026 Previews
I couldn’t agree more with CoffeeBreak, this show is all at sea. When you have Allison Janney sitting with her back facing the audience and not reacting to a pivotal moment, you know you’re in trouble.I will say that Lily, Joe and Ed are hitting it out of the park! I don’t care what the reviews say (…which I think will be a pass, especially for Julia, if she’s lucky), but true theatergoers must see these three dig into their parts. Really a masterclass of acting. I’d say the same of Alison bu...

Should be fun!"I t...

Question for those who have seen this: I booked a date for when Patina is out. I'm a subscriber so can change dates. Is her perforance worth the inconvenience (I do adore her...) to find a new date? The idea of seeing the author in the role does sound intriguing, so I'm a bit torn.
Re: Ed Harris, Allison Janney & Julia Louis Dreyfuss - OTHER DESERT CITIES Revival
I'll say this until I'm blue in the face: GET THEE TO THE BOX OFFICE! I can't think of a single Broadway show in over two decades (the return of Nathan and Matthew to the Producers?) where advance purchase on-line was a must to guarantee entry. And you also get the experience of tapping into the BO person's insider info...and perhaps a good chat!If you have access to the box office: use it, they save some great seats and you save a ton in fees.
Patti LuPone as Diana Vreeland in Full Gallop
MTC came out swinging this year...what an exciting collection of plays with casts to match! The subscription price looks it'll be worthy every penny, I don't want to miss one of these shows!
Re: Ed Harris, Allison Janney & Julia Louis Dreyfuss - OTHER DESERT CITIES Revival
Just go to the box office. I got into Godot for at least 100 under on-line pricing. A perfect seat not available online.
Re: DEATH OF A SALESMAN at NT with Tracy Letts, Paul Mescal, Ciaran Hinds, dir. Rebecca Frecknall
Mescal is what’s throwing me off here. Letts will probably be great, but if this weren’t the National, it would bomb at the box office. I’d be skeptical about a transfer unless the reviews are ravishing.
Ed Harris, Allison Janney & Julia Louis Dreyfuss - OTHER DESERT CITIES Revival??
This will all be quaint once Julia comes in. I'd say she'll break box-office records (again).

We’ve gotten to the point where celebrity prices are being weaponized 😂😂😂
Re: Bess Wohl’s “Small Mouth Sounds” Broadwaybound?
I mean, I was able to get into Othello and Good Night for around 250 or less, and I’m sure Downstate will be on TKTS and offer discounts for under 100, so I really don’t think this is a great deal. And while I'm sure Julia will sell this show out, let’s not forget her first foray into Broadway 😬 I’m generally skeptical if I’d spend even 200 on this show, even with this cast. Downstate though, I’d see again in a New York minute. Can’t wait for Joe’s take on it.
Re: Shuffle Along Reunion Concert
I would imagine that LCT members would get a crack at this, but perhaps not?
Re: Gillian Anderson & Billy Crudup to star in West End VIRGINIA WOOLF, dir. Marianne Elliott
Considering how sold this is already (albeit in a small theater) I would expect an extension and likely in a larger theater and fall 2027 transfer.
