Anyone seen the current Rent tour?

Anyone? Because I just (literally, five minutes ago) got tickets to the January stop in Kalamazoo, MI, and Im wondering what the advance word is. Hows the cast? Anyone I should really watch for? I saw Rent on my 16th birthday, and I'm feeling the need to reconnect lately.
There's always room for pathos - and jazz hands.

Yes. Several of us on here have seen the current Rent tour. I'd recommend you use the Search function to see the word on the street, but that Search confuses the hell out of me.

In short, everyone is generally positive about the cast. [insert OHMYGOD DAN IS SO FCUKING HOTTT AND I WANT HIS PANTS!!!!!!!111one!!!! here] re: Anyone seen the current Rent tour? I saw them several times in September but would love to see them now and a few months from now to see how their portrayals have grown and changed. I'm sure you'll have a great time. They were fantastic.

Cool, thanks! I tried the search feature, but something like 8000 results came up and they mostly seemed to be Rent movie and Wicked tour related, so I gave up and started this thread. Good to know that the word is positive! Thanks again!

Does anyone have a link to the tour dates?

The best place for info on people who have seen the tour is compulsivebowlers.com. There's a forum there for the tour and there are regular reviews, discussions, and such.

I just saw it not to long ago and it's absolutely brilliant. Best cast, in my opinion, by far. The only problem I have with it is when the 'Bag Lady' gets all pissy at Mark...well, she doesn't get too pissy in this...which is odd. But for the most part, everyone is perfectly on for the entire show!

I'm not sure if this is the same tour but I'm seeing it in Jan here in Fredericton NB!!! I've never seen it *hides face in shame. I'm very excited!

Roxie, it's the same cast, and it's a great one to lose your Rent virginity to! I took a bunch of Rent virgins and a great time was had by all. This cast has so much energy (and talent to boot), and it really makes the difference. (PS. The rentthetour.com tour schedule is out of date and kinda sucks...someone on CB started a thread based on the dates found on Damien DeShaun (sp? - Angel)'s official site.)

i saw the tour just this past wednesday. the cast is exceptional, and i believe that "la vie boheme" was performed better than i've ever seen before.
Ocean Breeze soap. It's just like taking an ocean cruise only there's no boat and you don't go anywhere.

I last saw the tour 48 days ago.... no words. the best cast ever. I know that phrase gets thrown around a lot but not by me. They are just incredible. I saw it five times here in San Diego. Love em. Danny Calvert as Paul... watch out. Yuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and when he humps the fence during contact... phew... bring a cold shower.... re: Anyone seen the current Rent tour?
