All I have to say is. NICE JOB Charity. Getting better each week. Made a nice amount of money, and the attendance sure is going up!
Good for Charity! (+13.5%) and Brooklyn too! (+12%)
Little Women's doing better, but not too well
Definitely some Sweet news for Charity! I hope the upward spiral continues as the show opens later this week!
Thanks for the link ljay!

Eeek! RENT had only 68.1% attendance!
Yay Christina! ($495K and rising!)
WAOVW got killer reviews & is tanking at the box office. Go figure
Tony nods should help. Jackie Mason should be history soon

I love the music from Little Women, I dont think its a matter of the material so much as getting people into the theatre. i guess compared to some other shows it seems dull. Dont get me wrong, I love Wicked, Chitty, and the others, but people need to give the quiet shows a chance too
broadway did well this week! Chitty, doubt, pillowman, and all of the usuals did very nicely
...hooray!
Do you all think the CD release of Little Women will help any? I bought the CD and absolutely love it!
it breaks my heart to see little women doing so poorly (and worse than BKLYN ... eesh). I really enjoyed it and would def go back again! hopefully they hang in there. (i think their ad campaign is way off though... only trying to appeal to mothers and daughters... and the lame commercials that only show the logo...no clips or anything.) get a new ad agency and start selling! cant wait for my CD to come.....

Little Women grossed $94,603 more than Brooklyn and sold over 619 more tickets.
It saddens me to see Rent so low. Hopefully it will pick up. Hey, does anybody think that Rent would close anytime soon? I'm hoping to catch it again (I only saw the tour recently but, I want to see the Broadway version)
omg what a dumb mistake lol... sorry bout that... i think i just looked at the percentages quick. at any rate... i wish LW would do A LOT better. its not just for moms and daughters... i went with my dad and cousins and we all loved it...and so did my mom and sisters and grandmas aunt etc. it appeals to many types... so they shouldnt pigeonhole the marketing into just moms and daughters.... (and these TV commercials are awful... show some of the colorful costumes...show some of the musical numbers... show sutton and maureen belting...anything but that boring logo would help!)

I'm hoping that with the release of the RENT movie, it will bring in more ticket sales...The phantom movie worked miracles for the phantom show on broadway...not like the phantom show needed any help..but u get where im goin...
I think if Little Women does not get any Tony nods, its closing will be announced days later
DTBG2: Gotcha! Hopefully that will happen. It sounds plausible, doesn't it. Sorta like a "regained" interest in Rent again. LOL, hopefully!

13 shows with attendance over 90%! Looks better...
But it doesn't look good for Little Women: only 54%!

Good News for Sweet Charity. Even though I've complained incessantly about the lead, I just love this show, the music and lyrics. I would love to own Denis O'Hare's version of Sweet Charity. I think he was wonderful(w/D'Amboise.)His singing reminds me a little of Ruthie Henshaw. His lips are usually tightly pursed. I thought it worked for Oscar.
Anyway in the cast album you don't have to experience the mess that is W Bobbie's direction and W Cilento's on again off again Fosse choreography.
