I'm a big fan of legit evidence, first of all. Literally like three days ago, he told a friend of mine he hasn't got anything coming up. He doesn't strike me as much of a dancer, but hey, I'm sure he's full of surprises. If it's true, congrats to Michael.

He was in Pippin, which is a dance-centered show, right?
I hope he does something on Broadway soon. Yay for Michael!
He does like... really random dancing in Swimming in the Shallows, but Twyla Tharp's stuff is... really hardcore dance. And wasn't Pippin (at least in New York) a concert version?
Has anyone ever seen the video of Pippin? Pippin doesn't really move around much.

well, nobody, but Twyla Tharp is involved so it's a fairly logical assumption.
Is Twyla going to work through American Musical History and produce dance shows featuring songs by rockers? Bruce next? Manilow? Clay Aiken?
Perhaps there will be a singing part like in Moving Out.
It's nice to be in San Diego. I'm definitely seeing this and Chita's new show.
:0)
As Emcee noted, Michael did say he has nothing coming up.
I haven't even heard rumors about this show happening, let alone casting rumors. If it's structured like "Movin' Out" then I assume Michael would do the Michael Cavanaugh thing and sing. I could be wrong though, he might whip out some crazy dance skills no one ever knew about!
We'll see where it goes.

The show seems like it is definitely happening, but other than that, there doesn't appear to be very much that's concrete.

Fixed!
If it's true, I'm really excited for Michael; it could be his big break!
I'm sure I'll be seeing the play again; I can ask?
Hmmm, I would. Then again, it could be all "hush-hush" at the moment.
*ponder*
Don't worry,I swear He can dance!his "right track" dance was amazing!
According to Adam Flemming, there was a really tough dance audition for everyone in BARE, which Michael starred in. So it's likely he could dance.
I'm not saying Michael can't dance; I've seen him dance. But there's a pretty damned big difference between your run-of-the-mill musical theatre dancing, let alone dancing that would be employed for a pop opera and Twyla Tharp choreography.
well i hope to see Michael in some sort of new musical, i agree Twyla Tharp dancing is intense!!! That's odd that BARE had dance auditions, because there isnt any dancing in BARE....hmm....

I think there are 3 Singing/Acting/Dancing Roles:
A Son
A Father and a girl/Mother
and a ensemble of dancers
I hear Jenn Collea (spelling) could be the girl
Anyone know the dates in San Diego?

add Paul kandel as the Father
and Arden can dance
He can do almost anything
probly charmed the Tharp with that sweet voice and the understanding of Dylan's lyrics as Poetry
What's the name of the show?
Isn't Jenn set to do that musical "Slut" off-Broadway?
I hope it's true, although Michael said he's got nothing coming up.
the show is called
"The unnamed Bob Dylan Project"
and will be in San Diego at the Globe in Jan. 06
Hopefully the name will change
to "Like a Rolling Stone"
it has movement in the title like "Moving Out"

I've never been a huge Dylan fan, but then again, I wasnt a Billy Joel fan either, and now I love um. I can't wait. Is this B'way bound (aka a tryout?) or is it just a run of a show, work-shop esque.
