Are previews still sold cheaper?
#1Are previews still sold cheaper?

Most shows can't afford to change prices anymore. That's why they put out discount codes, generally available during previews.
Then there are the productions which present ticket-buying gimmicks - seats for $19.55 (All Shook Up), all seats for the first preview $19.26 (Wonderful Town), all preview seats $54 (Cry-Baby).

Sad, but true. Unless you go looking for it, previews are not a bargain.
I did, as the above poster pointed out, score CryBaby preview tix for the 54 without a code, as it is a hook.
For any show always search for discount codes: especially during off season (now) BrowadwayBox.com always has them as does several other sources.

Do you guys think that in that case then, that shows should be able to be reviewed from the first preview onwards, as producers are really not treating previews as previews anymore?
I mean you are no longer being discounted for any tech issues during that pre opening period.
