This new day and time means more choice and flexibility for your schedule, and the opportunity to fit even more Broadway shows in your calendar. You can also find matinees on those days when they take off other days that week for a holiday.
July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.

On Telecharge, you can pick the date you want to see show and it will come up with a little sun image to indicate whether there are matinees on that Thursday or Friday.
Off Broadway, "Musicals Tonigh!" does 2pm Friday matinees for its shows, which run for about 2 weeks each, it seems. Also, through March 23, there is a 5pm show on Fridays called "Riding the Midnight Express" at St. Luke's Theatre.
Hope that info helps a bit!
