Are there lotteries during wintertime?

Yes, the lotteries and rushes occur year round.

The lotteries don't change for the winter, though some are handled in the lobby instead of outside the theater if it's brutal outside. Also many lotteries are now done over the internet..you enter online and you only need to go to the theater if you win.

You are never going to get everyone to agree on any show but I personally loved Kinky Boots - saw it more than once (but hey I see many things more than once). I think you will find the lovers and the haters and everything in between with most shows..it's really up to what you are interested in.

Not everyone likes every show obviously, but (as you may be able to tell) I absolutely adore Kinky Boots. It's one of the best shows I've seen! I saw it in 2013 with the original cast and when I was in the city this summer I saw it 3 more times! I will be seeing it on tour a few times next year as well. The music is incredibly entertaining and the story and characters are absolutely wonderful. And of course there is the added bonus of fabulous drag queens in some of the most gorgeous costumes you will ever see! The cast is also one of the more energetic ones I've seen recently
