I was looking for tickets to Wicked. I came across this link.
I know it is a picture of the brochure and they are cheap. But, the poster says that they are actual tickets and they have a high rating. Are these legit. Should I go for them. My gut is saying that it might just be the brochure that they are going to sell for whatever they can and they aren't tickets. But, part of me wishes that they were in fact tickets for Wicked.
Wicked ebay tickets
I think these are real tickets and the brochure is there just to advertise the show. The low price might be throwing you off. It's a tactic to get people to bid on the show - believe me, these tickets are going to go for more than $30.

My advice- for what it's worth- never buy tickets except though the legitimate channels.
Yeah despite what I said, buy from a legit source (especially since you feel skeptical) unless there is no doubt in your mind that these tickets are real. These tickets will probably go for more than $100 - you might as well buy partial view seats through the box office or Ticketmaster, you will pay a fair price, and you know you won't be getting ripped off.
I'm sketched out. Try Stubhub.

While I am sketchy about ebay buying, it seems this person has successfully sold many Wicked tickets and the customers are happy (according to the comments).
I agree that the low price is a ploy to get people to pay more for the show. But, considering that the betting is over in a day I am not sure how well that will work.
My new question is that I found a single ticket in the Mezz of the Gershwin for a week from wednesday at 90 bucks (the seller is only selling one. Fine by me that is all I need.) My question is is stub hub a legit source. I know that there are a ton of problems that can go wrong with ebay. Things like someone not actually selling the tickets and getting your money with you having no chance of getting a refund or anything like that. I know stub hub is owned by ebay. So would that mean that some of the same problems can happen?
Those tickets on Ebay are partial view seats, which now go for about $70 a piece on ticketmaster. If this seller is reliable, I think that you could get them for a good deal, assuming that the bids don't go up drastically before the bidding ends.
EDIT - By looking at the feedback/history, it seems like this seller is one of those people who buy the partial view seats and sell them for much more money. He puts a very low starting price on them, but then people bid on them and the price keeps going up, much more than face value.
Together, those seats are worth about $140 or so, so if you're considering, don't go over that much. But it's much more safer to buy from ticketmaster or direct from the box office.

Stub Hub is extremely legit.
I've bought tickets from ebay sellers with good reputations a couple times with great success. One had a pair of tickets about a year ago for a musical with no regular discounts available (I'm forgetting which one) that were clearly 5th row center orchestra seats -- premiums worth something like $225 each. When I "won" them for about $100 each, he immediately emailed "congratulations. I am able to upgrade you to front row". The seat numbers clearly showed they were even side seats in the front row. I went ballistic, said I didn't want those seats at any price, and demanded he credit me back immediately, which he did. So be careful that you get the seats that are advertised. This guy had the nerve to later email me that "most people would be thrilled that I could give them the "closer seats". Pants on fire.
"But, considering that the betting is over in a day I am not sure how well that will work."
People bid last minute.
If you feel comfortable about buying off Ebay, I'd rather go with the Ebay seats than the StubHub seat. You can always sell the extra Ebay ticket...I'm sure you can profit off of it.
