Are they renovating the Barrymore?

If they are, I hope they are fixing the sight line of the rear mezzanine row A, which is blocked by the very high rail.

Most recent public DOB permits show some mechanical upgrades related to their AC, some facade cleaning work for landmarks preservation, and electric upgrades (probably related to the AC). Nothing major.

Is this the reason this beautiful theatre is the only Broadway house without either a fall or spring booking?
