Wax Lion says that, if you are a true fanthony, say "OY!"
Love,
Wax Lion (Oy!)
Big "OY!" from me.
Anthony's a brilliant actor, incredibly talented singer, and one of the sweetest, warmest, most beautiful (both inside and out) people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Much love, Anthony. Thanks for putting my faith in this film; I owe you ton.

insomniak says this is what she calls egotistical masturbation- making yourself feel good by thinking you're great.
But yes, she likes Anthony's work very much and is sad that she won't get to see him as Seymour. Oy.

OY! Anthony is what I am most looking forward tomost about the Rent Movie. He is so talented. Great Actor and Great Singer (just listen to Rent, YAGMCB revival, and of course Look Around). He also seems to be one of the most genuine, sweet, and caring people (I originally said celebrities instead of people but that trivializes what I'm trying to say) I have ever seen. I would love to be able to just sit down and chat with him. He seems to be a very insightful person.
So OY!

"OY, OY, OY!"
Wow. What a song that is.
Right. From what I can tell, Anthony is the model sort of person, in that he shares his talent and general kindness with the rest of the world. (And, of course, he always comes bearing good film-related news.) I so admire him as a person.
"OY!"
Waxlion- I love the term "fanthony" :-P
And if I say anymore I fear I shall go into a lengthly, dithering ramble that doesn't make much sense in the first place so I will just leave it with a big and resounding "OY!!!" in response to your question.
(Plus everyone's already said what I would have said anyways, just in a more concise and reader-friendly manner.)
....well so much for preventing a long, slightly idiotic ramble.....
Wax Lion thinks that Anthony was super duper as Seymour Krelborn.

Nia is certain that he was and also wishes she could have seen him in Hedwig, one of her favorite shows. She is curious as to what present company thinks of his Hedwig.
Waxlion I love you for posting those pics! I wish I could have seen the show, I missed it while it was in LA. Aghh! Dare I say that I actually prefer Anthony and Tari to Hunter and Kerry? And while this is just my own personal opinion, that is saying something indeed because I absolutely loved Hunter and Kerry (still do). :-P
OY!!
Whadda guy, that Anthony Rapp. *much love*
Oy! Anthony is my favorite RENTer..
OY! OY! OY!
Anthony is awesome!
Funny story: I remember when I first got my RENT CR, I knew nothing about it or the actors in it because it was a gift and when I first listened to it there was a split moment of confusion on my part and I thought Anthony's voice belonged to Adam. I remember thinking "Wow, now that's a bit unexpected, that voice coming from that guy...." Then I looked it up online and realized my mistake. :-P Ah good times...
OY! and gavolt from me...(good thing)
Unfortunately, I've never had the pleasure of seeing Anthony live but I do love him on the Rent CD and a couple of songs I have from Charlie Brown, and I've seen him in Rent nonlive. Aside from that, I only met him for a couple minutes, but he was such a sweetie and you can tell how much he loves the movie and Jonathan Larson and everything. Actually, he's the reason I found this board, so I guess I owe him a lot. Yaay for Anthony!
I sincerely hope he returns to the stage someday in the near future so I can see him perform live. Missed LSoH and Hedwig and was too young for everything else. "Psst...go back to LSoH after RENT filming so I can see the tour when it comes back to Southern California!"

Although I haven't seen him in anything live, I listen to the Rent OBCR and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown quite often, and I think that he is great on both of them! I hope I get the chance to see him in a live production someday!
Yes Pinguin, Anthony and Adam Rapp are indeed brothers.
*whew*
Adam writes some awesomely twisted plays :0)
