OY! for rent and you're a good man charlie brown re: Are you an Anthony Rapp fan?

"No two shows are alike in the making. Each show is a living piece of your life in a small unreal world with its own character and integrity; its own new set of memorable experiences and incredible happenings. You begin to love and adapt to its strangeness. Dreams harden into substance. Values come into focus. You wish it would never end. The dream world vanishes like mist before a rising sun; part of you vanishes with it. And back you land in the real world with a thud- fogged, uneasy, jittery, difficult to get along with. There is only one cure. A new show. A new, small unreal world; new visions, experiences, incredible happenings. Again you love it, adapt to it, wish it would never end. But end it does. Another part of you vanishes. That's show business."-Anonymous

OY OY OY OY!!! I love him, he's so great! OY...why are we oying? Oh, who cares? OY OY!!!

I need a bumper sticker, Oy if you love Anthony. (the silence should be deafening...not that he's unworthy...he's just not known in Tampa, FL)

incendiary_wit has yet to give her compliments to Wax Lion for the Mark scarf and glasses...consider compliments given.

Has Welcome, Anthony Rapp offically been considered dead yet? I need to have a funeral...with "dearly beloved, we gather to say our goodbyes/ here it lies/ oh what it was worth/ it made Anthony fans the happiest on earth.

Someone stop me, I'm parodying everything...did you see the one for Beethoven Day...or as I called it, "Rent Trailer Day"...STOP ME it's summer and I have too much time on my hands...STOP ME!
Unless you're hiring for Forbidden Broadway, in which case, CAST ME!!!

MissElphie: Sadly, yes. There are two kinds of people in this world. Anhtony fans and they that don't know who he is. It's a shame *tsk tsk*
dietcherryemma: David Searching is the best...*tries desperately not to snicker* I hope you have been well prepared, our Anthony shows some (lovely) skin in that movie (not enough, but still).

Once again:

OY! OY! OY! OY! OY! OY! *dances around singing "Oy, oy, oy, I love Anthony."...gets funny looks... for once doesn't shut up*

Let's have a count, how many lovely people on Broadway have pmed Bethy? (especailly since he wasn't annoyed that I've never seen a damn thing he's ever been in live. I apologize, I'm in Florida, if Anthony does a tour (god, did I want to see LSoH!) here, I will camp out if necessary so I can see him.)
1
the name of that sweet, amazing, beautiful in every way (inside, outside) man (who pmed me twice and made me feel all warm and fuzzy on two bad days) who even bothered to answer my question and help me with an essay that David Searching got me intrigued by:

*drumrolls*

ANTHONY RAPP!!! YAY! *hoots, hollers, whistles, throws confetti* =8->

So for now and forever, OY! I declare myself a huge Anthony fan and will shout: OY OY OY OY OY OY OY OY!!!!

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

I think it was yesterday that I was reading this thread and I was reading all the "Oy!'s" so I went "Oy!!" out loud and I was on a laptop in a public area and I all these people just whipped around and stared at me. Guess I didn't realize I said it so loud. :-P After that I just kind of hunkered down over my table and ate my eggroll in silence. Probably would have kept the "oys" going for a while but I didn't think the security guards standing by the entrance would have appreciated it very much...re: Are you an Anthony Rapp fan?

I literally ran around in circles in the den singing, (please don't let Anthony read this and think I'm insane...despite the fact I am) Anyway, singing,
"I love Anthony Rapp. Oy oy oy oy oy!"
Circles...singing that line over and over. I think I've offically scared my family off.
I even got my friend Alex to sing with me...over the phone. She said her family is afraid too.

Wax Lion thinks IW a tad bit bored. I'm sure that Anthony appreciates and supports all of his fanthony's, even the ones that need ritalin. Don't worry, Wax Lion is hyper today, too. Too much sugar in the jasmine tea.

OY OY OY OY! how many times need it be said? He is going to be one of my favorite highlights of RENT!

Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.

IW (cool a nickname!) is very bored. For she is now three into summer vacation and has nothing to do but search through message boards and register her two cents everywhere. I do need ritalin...anyone have some?

A thunderous OY from the streets of Philadelphia to Mr. Anthony Rapp - whom I had the distinct pleasure of seeing on the closing matinee of YAGMCB with my wonderful family. I have never had the opportunity to meet him, but can imagine that he is every bit as wonderful as he seems...

And OTA thanks Wax Lion for offering this opportunity to OY, and wishes Wax Lion a happy Monday!
