Hm. Are you familiar with her writing aside from IN THE HEIGHTS? That's hardly a fair assessment on her capabilities. She also wrote ELLIOT, A SOLDIERS FUGUE, which was quite sharp and lovely
This project; LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE does sound intriguing.
